Fix Cannot open Task Manager after Windows 10 update

The Task Manager is not working at all after installed the recent Windows 10 Update on my Surface Pro 4. I press the control+alt+delete keys, or run it from the Start menu, the Task Manager is not opening and its icon appear on the task bar. Now I am unable to close the the programs which are no longer responding, or analyze the disk/network/memory usage on my tablet. Continue reading

Fix No Network Usage showing in Windows 10 Task Manager

I have updated Motherboard driver on my Desktop computer running Windows 10 Education x64 successfully. The Network Manager has already added into Ethernet Adapter driver. When I download game installation file from internet and open Task Manager to see network usage, there is no network activity and it just shows 0 Mbps usage with all apps under the Process tab. The action can’t be completed because the file is open in COM Surrogate in Windows 10

When I opened the properties of an mp3 file and tried to remove personal information or changes the album name, I clicked the Apply button then the File in Use dialog box poped up with an error message “The action can’t be completed because the file is open in COM Surrogate.” That also happened with making changes with the properties of picture like .jpg in Windows 10 Pro. Fix Windows 8 100% disk usage in Surface Pro

Everything was working perfect on my Surface Pro until today the tablet always becomed freeze and was really laggy. After I booted it up and checked task manager, it was accusing of being a 100% disk usage for the C disk. All process was only at 0.1MB and the largest one was no more than 2mb. It is very annoying to have unresponsive system every 15 min. I can’t figure out what is causing the issue in task manager. How can I solve the high HDD usage? Continue reading
