Remove custom scale factor is set and Turn off custom scaling in Windows 10

To extend the display, I connect my Windows 10 laptop with a Dell 32″ monitor. The icons is a bit larger while the text look blurry. So I go to the Settings app and set text for 150% with max 2880 x 1620 resolution. However, the scaling level is still 100% after each login. It says “A custom scale factor is set” in red letters and Turn off custom scaling and sign out with blue color. How can I resolve the problem? Continue reading

Blurry text/font with multi monitors in Windows 10

Windows 10 operating system has the annoying problem if you use the high resolution monitors. The system can not do scaling properly. The text in Start menu and all programs become bold and italic font and looks weird. I ran the sfc command and applied default theme and nothing worked on my Windows 10 computer with v1803 update. App windows moved and resized on multiple display after wake Windows 10 up

I use the Asus MX239 monitor as the main display on my Windows 10 computer. Then I connect with a Dell XPS 2015 model via DisplayPort to HDMI cable and configure it to scale. Both devices have been setup to 1920 x 1080px resolution. However, when I wake up the system from sleep mode, it is frustrating that all apps’ windows have moved from the primary display to another. Multiple monitors Nvidia GPU not working in Windows 10 Creators Update 1709

My Windows 10 computer has used two NVidia GTX 1080 and it was working fine before the Fall creator update. After I apply the updates, the system allows to use only one GPU, no matter if I use 2,3 or 4 GPUs and in whatever viarity I set them up. So my second monitor connects and then runs into problem. Within device manager, each GPU gets a visible warning sign but shows “this card cannot be used is CODE 12 = Bios/Uefi doesn’t support the card with enough power” error. Fix Windows 10 not detecting second monitor

I have setted up multiple monitors in Windows 8.1 and used it without any problem. However, after upgraded to the latest Windows 10 OS, the second monitor connected through HDMI port no longer worked and remained dark, as well as the system said it cannot detect the second one. When I pressed Win + P keys, the menu did not come up for me to select another projection. I tried to get it from the search bar and receive the “PC can’t project to another screen. I have got multi-displays scaling problem with my brand new Surface Pro 3 i5 model. I connect the tablet to my Apple MC007LL/A 27-inch LED Cinema Display, which works fine with the Macbook air, through MiniDisplay Port connector with recommended 2560 x 1440 resolution configured. Windows 8.1 invisible mouse pointer on dual monitors with docking station

My Surface Pro has been installed Windows 8.1 correctly but the mouse behaves strangely with dual screen. When I use Targus USB 3.0 Video Docking Station to connect my tablet to the second monitor Dell UltraSharp U2312HM which has native 1920×1080 resolution, the mouse arrow is invisible and disappears.
