I had applied all patched via automatic update on my Windows 8.1 tablet. After I rebooted the device and logged into my primary account, the system loaded and opened the modern interface with purple background and flashed in a continuous loop. Fix Windows 8.1 Diagnostics Policy Service is not Running

I was unable to conntect to the internet over WiFi on my Surface pro 3 tablet running Windows 8.1 64-bit, even try manually connecting using the ethernet cable. But other wireless devices like laptops and iPhones work well. After I performed the built-in Troubleshooter and then the Network Adapter of All Categories option, the result showed the message “The Diagnostics Policy Service is not running, click to run as an administrator. error 5″ and it failed to fix the problem. Windows 8 Boot failed issue Error code 0xc000000f

I had installed the OS in a 750 GB hard drive on my computer and everything worked fine. However, after I cloned OS partition of the original drive to my new 120GB SSD and configured it as first boot device in bios, the Windows 8.1 boot failed with error code 0xc000000f and messages “Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors” or “one of the devices can not be reached, check cable, and retry it again”. Windows 8.1 notification Some Settings are managed by your system administrator

I log into with administrator account on Windows 8.1 x64 tablet and keep getting the grayed out notification settings. When I the right-side Charms bar from desktop mode and go to Change PC settings > Search and apps > Notifications, it shows the red message “Some Settings are managed by your system administrator” and there is no way to make the changes. Then I remove my account and reinstall Calendarm Mail, People but it is still not working. Trying the System Restore is just fine for a limit time. How can I fix the issues? Continue reading

Fix Windows 8.1 black screen with cursor after log into account

My windows 8.1 64-bit tablet worked properly since today. After I login to my account with correct password, there are a blank screen and a vanishing cursor. Only my mouse and keyboard work fine and I can move pointer around the screen.
