Windows 10 Cortana search results open IE11 Instead of Edge browser

I have setup Edge as default browser in the Settings app on my Surface Pro 4 tablet. When I type words in the Cortana Search box from task bar or use Cortana voice search in Edge, the Bing results will be opened in Internet explorer. Switching file Extension association doesn’t take effects. The problem happens after the fall creator update. It is very annoying for me. Is that any working solution for that in Windows 10? Fix Amazon assistant cannot uninstall in Windows 10 Creator update

I have upgraded my tablet to Windows 10 Creator update home version. After I reboot and login the system, the desktop keep popping up the Amazon assistant causes .dll error messages. If I try to open Amazon Assistant, it just runs install wizard and nothing else. Its extension also appears in Internet Explorer.
