Windows 8.1 Wifi Service causes High CPU Usage

My tablet running the Windows 8.1 worked fast and recently heats up and the system becomes slow. In the task manager, I notice that the “Windows Wireless LAN 802.11 Extensibility Framework” causes high CPU usage (nearly 50% of processing power) and the fan keeps running. The issue often occurs and it seems to be no way to reduce it, even I disconnect the WiFi and change to the wired ethernet network. Continue reading

How to check CPU temperature in Windows 8

The temperatures of CPU processor is a very critical condition to a tablet and computer. I had used some gadgets to measure the temperature in Windows 7, but they are not working in Windows 8 and the OS doesn’t have any built-in utility to do this.
