No audio played after Windows 10 creators update

After my Surface Pro 4 tablet has been upgraded to Windows 10 creators update, there is no any audio when I play music and video. The task manager shows the continuous high CPU and disk usage. Windows 10 No Network Adapters Detected Error 1083

When I tried to setup a 2nd network on my computer running Windows 10 Pro, the system was unable to connect any networks and all connection icons were not listing in the Network folder. I clicked the “Set up ahome or small office network” button and did a refresh, it showed the error message “The Network Connections Folder was unable to retrieve the list of Network Adapters on your machine. Keep Windows 8.1 system on while turn off screen

I always use my Surface pro 3 running Windows 8.1 to download large files like android system updates for my phone through WiFi network, or listen to music by Spotify while I walk to work, so I would like to keep the tablet on but turn off screen at the same time. I can stream the music from my Samsung Galaxy S6 Android phone onto my ultrabook installed the Windows 7 and all remote control functions are supported, such as play, pause and skip, even show artist and the track title. File name is too long Cannot rename/delete file in Windows 8.1

I have rescued the data of hard drive from my friend’s laptop and everyhting seems to be fine. However, I notice that a few super-long folders and a photo with a very long file name (over 265 chars) are accidentally transferred over to on my Windows 8.1 computer with all updates applied. When I try to open, rename or delete any of them by right clicking on it or from the command line, it┬ádisplays the file name is too long error message. Restarting the PC is not working at all. Windows 10/8 one or more network protocols are missing on this computer error

My surface Pro 3 has upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1. The system showed the connected IPV4 internet network over WiFi and hadpicked up DHCP and DNS, but I can’t open any websites using IE or other web browsers and the diagnostic poped up the error message “Problems found: One or more network protocols are missing on this computer. Windows Network Diagnostics is unable to repair the problem“. Rebooting the tablet and router had the exact same issue and I couldn’t figure out how to resolve the it. Continue reading

Audio Service is not running error 1740 in Windows 8.1

I am unable to adjust volume, mute or un-mute the sound on my Windows 8.1 computer while the audio is working but the tray notification keeps poping up The Audio Service is not running error message. I start its service through device manager and a dialogue box shows up “Windows Audio can’t be started, error 1740 (0x800706cc: Endpoint is a duplicate).” How can I resolve the problem?
