Windows 10 stuck at INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE after KB4023057 update

My Surface Pro 3 has applied the Critical Update KB4023057 in Windows 10 Fall Creators update 1709 version. After I make changes with my current power plan and restart, the system runs into Operating System not Found and stuck at an Inaccessible Boot Drive error. It seems that the BIOS and boot settings get corrupted. I have never created restore points or backup files on tablet. Now I am unable to log into system to continue my office documents. Chrome/Firefox auto-opens after restart/reboot Windows 10 in Fall Creators Update

After I install the Fall Creators Update in Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 3 tablet, the system just runs into the strange problem. It happens every time I make a restarting or rebooting. The next time I login my desktop and the Chrome browser auto opens and recovers the latest web pages I visited. In the Task Manager, I end its process and nothing takes effect. Windows 10 v1709 system image restore failed by Backup and Restore

The Backup and Restore feature is not working in Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 3 tablet. It just appears the error message “The system image restore failed.Error details: A Volume Shadow Copy Service component encountered an unexpected error. Check the Application event log for more information.(0×80042302)” The problem happens after I fresh install the fall Creators update 1709 version. I had used the built-in tool to create repair disk and store image resides on an external USB hard drive. However, I restore any the Win10 v1703 images, except the v1709. Any way to get rid of that? Connected CD/DVD Drive Hidden not recognized with Code 45 after Windows 10

I was able to watch Blu-Ray movies through a Internal CD DVD-RW Drive on my Windows 8.1 computer. However, after recently I upgrade the PC to Windows 10 and install the fall Creators update, the DVD can not be recognized by system while it is connecting. Within the Device manager, I notice that it becomes hidden and is migrated as a SCSI device. Its Device Status text box displays “Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)” message. I reconnect it and nothing happens. How can I resolve the problem? Continue reading

How to fix outdated or unsafe TLS security settings in Edge brower

My Surface Pro 3 tablet works fine since installed the latest Windows 10 version 1709. When I click on the dropbox address to download files in a webpage, it can not be loaded normally. I just get the error message “Can’t connect securely to this page. This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.” That also happens with msn, capitolaone or paypal secure site. I change to use the IE 11 browser and it is sitll not working. I have to use the dropbox app to get the shared file. Any way to resolve the problem? Continue reading

Setup Windows Hello not function on login after Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

I have done a fresh installation with Fall Creators Update on my Surface Pro 3 tablet. For security reason, I don’t want to type password on the login screen. So I open the Settings app and setup facial recognition for Windows Hello. However, I make a rebooting and get stuck on the welcome screen. The new feature is not working at all. 0x80072EE7 microsoft store needs to be online not open in Windows 10

My Surface Pro 3 tablet has been upgraded to Windows 10 Fall Creators Update through Windows update. However, when I try to open the Microsoft Store, it won’t load with “Check Your Connection” option. I click on it and get the error “Microsoft Store needs to be online, it looks like your not. Code: 0x80072EE7.” Turning off the Kaspersky anti-virus and nothing takes effect. I could not run the Skype and Todoist apps while not buy or download any. That worked in Anniversary Update v1607. Convert SVG image/icon to Shapes and edit color, texture in Office word

The Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)is an XML-based vector image format. Microsoft Office 2016 supports using SVG files in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint 2016. Users are able to transform all SVG pictures and icons into Office shapes and then make changes with them. I have subscribed an Office 365 home on my Surface Pro 4 and could not find the way to configure my SVG icon. When I go to the Graphics Tools/Format tab in Word, the Convert button is missing in the Change section. Any way to convert SVG front on my tablet without thrid-part app? Continue reading
