Windows 10 taskbar flashes and File Explorer crashes in safe mode

I had upgraded my Surface Pro 4 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Pro and everything worked fine. However, after installed the Fall Creators Update on my tablet, the taskbar keeps flashing while the File Explorer always crashes randomly. Sometimes it loads normally and I right clicks on a file to rename or performs that by keyboard. Then the window just flashes up blank/green and closes on its own. It doesn’t pop up any error message. The explorer.exe crashes immediately after I boot into sage mode. How can I resolve the problem?

How to fix File Explorer crashes in safe mode on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
It seems to be a bug with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, due to the My people feature.
* First boot in normal mode and login to the Windows 10 system.
* On your desktop, hold-and-press or right-click on the taskbar, and select the “Show People Button” from the content menu to remove its tick mark.
Once you’ve unchecked the option, the button of My people app goes away from the left side of your taskbar. You can re-enable the My people in the further.

If the File Explorer is not working with multiple displays, the culprit might be the DisplayLink USB driver. The update process auto replaces your installed DisplayLink driver with their own. I disconnect the second monitor and install the latest version driver from website, then everything runs smoothly.
