How To Uninstall OneDrive completely in Windows 10 Creators Update

You might don’t want to use the built-in cloud storage application OneDrive to sync file in Windows 10, as well as most corporations would like to disable it because of the threat of data extraction. Now Creators Update offers the simple method to remove OneDrive by One Click from your tablet and computer. Here is the tutorial to disable it without using Command Prompt.

How to Uninstall OneDrive completely in Windows 10 Creators Update
* Tap or click on the Start button, and open the Setting app. Click on the Apps category, and go to Apps & features.
Another quick way is to press the Start button, type “Apps & features” and select it from result.
* On the right side pane, locate the Microsoft OneDrive from all installed app, or type OneDrive into the Search This List box, Then select OneDrive and hit the “Uninstall” button.
The Group Policy also allows you to disable OneDrive completely.
* Press Win + R from your keyboard, input gpedit.msc in Run box and hit Enter.
* Navigate to the tree below:
Local Computer Policy
-Computer Configuration
–Administrative Templates
—Windows Components
* Go to the right pane, double click on Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage, check Enable, and click OK to apply the policy.

However, I have tried the above method to uninstall OneDrive app and the OneDrive folder is still on the left pane of File Explorer. The folder is located in C:\Users\. Finally I find a way to remove it by changing value of Registry editor.
* Press Win + R from keyboard, type regedit in Dialog box and click OK to oepn Registry editor.
* Click on the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder to expand all, and clcik on CLSID > {018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}.
* On the right side pane, double click on the string below:


And change its Value Data from 1 to 0, and click Ok button to save all. Now the the OneDrive folder should be deleted on the left side of File Explorer.
