My computer is running Windows 8.1 Pro with up-to-date pathes installed. However, everytime I play the music or run other applications, the system runs slowly. Within the task manager, I notice that the WmiPrvSE.exe (WMI Provider Host) process always flares up to about 30% or above of CPU usage and interrupts my programs. Windows 8.1 can’t save Mouse wheel scrolling setting

I use a USB Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse on my Windows 8.1 computer pre-loaded with up-to-date driver. I accessed the Mouse setting, adjusted the vertical scrolling to 1 line at a time in the Wheel tab and everything worked correctly. Missing install updates and shutdown option in Windows 8.1

I have setup the “download updates but let me choose weather to install them” in control panel on my Windows 8.1 device. However, I noticed that the Power button shows “Update and Restart” while it only allows me to restart the computer to apple them. microSD card unmounts/disconnects after Windows 8.1 wake up

I bought a new SanDisk Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 and used it on my Surface Pro 3 running Windows 8.1 OS. Everything worked fine since I uncovered the type cover 2 to wake up the tablet from a long sleep period. I noticed that the microSD card unmounted itself and its related drive was no long available in File Explorer. Change OneDrive folder location to SD card in Windows 10 Technical Preview

I had installed the operating system on a very small SSD for a system drive. After upgrading the computer from Windows 8.1 to 10 Technical Preview, I notice that the placeholder sync model has been removed by Microsoft and it is no way to change location of OneDrive folder.
