I have installed Microsoft Office 2013 in my Surface Pro 2 tablet successfully, and get the issues about opening the saved files. When I try to open any Word 2013 (.docx or .docm) or Excel 2013 (.xlsx) document file in Windows 8.1, it pops up a error dialog “There was a problem sending the command to the program” or “Cannot find file (or one of its components)” If I click the OK button and everything becomes fine, but it will come back after resarted the system. Windows 8.1 notification Some Settings are managed by your system administrator

I log into with administrator account on Windows 8.1 x64 tablet and keep getting the grayed out notification settings. When I the right-side Charms bar from desktop mode and go to Change PC settings > Search and apps > Notifications, it shows the red message “Some Settings are managed by your system administrator” and there is no way to make the changes. Fix Windows 8.1 black screen with cursor after log into account

My windows 8.1 64-bit tablet worked properly since today. After I login to my account with correct password, there are a blank screen and a vanishing cursor. Only my mouse and keyboard work fine and I can move pointer around the screen. Then I boot to safe mode, but couldn’t access Control Panel, and then try changing to low resolution mode doesn’t take any effect. Any way to resolve the problem? Continue reading
