Windows 8.1 error occurred while capturing your pin

I am unable to capture PIN and create picture password after installing the latest update on my Windows 8.1 computer. When I log on system by full password and try to change my Microsoft Account sign-in to a PIN through PC Settings, it shows the message “Error occurred while capturing your pin , please try again later”. I switch to local account but the problem persist. The machine is workgroup only, not part of a domain. How can I get it working? Continue reading
