How to import .nk2 files into Outlook 2013

For the earlier versions, Outlook’s auto-complete or nickname cache (*.NK2) is the entire autocomplete file on your hard drive. But Outlook 2013 doesn’t maintaine your nickname cache by the.nk2 file, and only stores the cache in the data or mailbox file. If you have multiple Outlook profiles on different PCs, here are the tips about how to import .nk2 files into Outlook 2013.

* The .nk2 file location for Outlook 2007/2003 is in the folder below:
Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\[Your-user-profile]\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Windows Vista/7
C:\Users\[your-user-profile]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook
* Copy the .NK2 file to the folowing hard drive location of computer you want to import:
%appdata%\Microsoft\Outlook
and then rename the .NK2 file to your nickname.
* Press Windows + R from keyboard, type outlook.exe /importnk2 into the text box, click OK button to start importing process.
