Fix USB 3.0 ports issues in Windows 8

If you have just upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8, or installed Windows 8 Pro or Enterprise on my computer, you might notice that USB 2.0 ports works fine but all of the USB 3.0 ports no longer recognize, not matter what version USB device are plugged in. I try try updating to latest BIOS, Microsoft’s drivers but it is not working with error “This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE” in Device Manager.

How to Fix USB 3.0 ports issues in Windows 8
* Unplug ALL usb devices like headphones, printer, hubs, external drives.
* From start screen, Click Desktop Tile to open the Desktop, right-click on Taskbar and select “Control Panel” from Menu. Set “Small icons” from the “View by:” drop down, and click on Device Manager. And right-click the third party USB 3.0 to uninstall and remove drivers.
* Reboot your computer. Once login to the system, you need to attach USB 3.0 devices to the computer and wait for 3 to 5 minutes. Becuaes Windows 8 has built-in support for USB 3.0 and it are detecting them to install the correct driver.
