Mark message as spam on Windows 8 mail app

I have setup hotmail in Windows 8 mail app and keep getting spam messages daily on my Surface Pro. I need to configure a spam filter or folder and also flag the email messages, so I can access important messages more easily and mark something as spam or block senders in the buitl-in Mail app.

Unfortunately, the Windows 8 modern mail application doesn’t have the spam filter feature and also no functionality to mark a message as junk mail. It is designed for cloud-based accessing, so you can set up that on your provider’s server.

Gmail, AOL and Yahoo all have their own spam filters. If you use Exchange Account or Gmail, smiply move the message from Inbox into “Junk Email” or Spam folder respectively.
