Fix no email associated program errors in Windows 8

I have installed office 2013 on my Windows 8 Pro computer and setup Gmail account in Windows Mail App by IMAP. When I right-click on a file in File Explorer and select “Send To” from content menu, the following error messages pop up on the screen.
“There is no e-mail program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create a association in the Default Programs control panel.”
Now the email program is not recognized by Windows 8. How can I fix the issues?

If you are encounterring the same problem, it means that something has corrupted the Outlook/MAPI installation in system. Try these tips to get it working:
* Download microsoft Fix it tool to your tablet or PC. Then run the wizard to repair the installation automatically.
* Open regedit editor and navigate to the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail
delete the “Default” registry values
Then open Control Panel > Default Programs, and set up Mail app as your default programs.
