CarMD/Photomatix Pro stopped working after Windows 8 upgraded

There is no any issues while I used Photomatix Pro 4.0.2 on my Windows 7 Professional computer. After upgraded to Windows 8 Pro 64bit successfully and try to run the software, it pops up “Photomatix Pro stopped working” error message. The PC has 8GB installed memory and ATI Radeon HD4650 graphics. Updating to the lastest drivers and disabling all startup and services are still not working. The CarMD program also has the same problem. How to fix the issues?

Photomatix is compatible with Windows 8 OS. However, like some of other apps, it requires the .NET Framework 3.5 version. To install the .NET Framework 3.5 and enable it on Windows 8, open Control Panel, go to Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off, and check “.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)” box. Once you’ve done, Photomatix, CarMD software will work fine again.
