Delete recovery partition for more space in Surface Pro

The recovery partition in Surface Pro takes up largest space for recovering Windows 8. Mine is about 5.5gb of space. To get more extra space for the tablet, you can delete this partition to store a little much of data.

Note: Removing the partition potentially makes the system crashing and your device becomes bricked. No way to undo your process. You’d better backup the recovery partition to a USB flash drive or another external storage.

How to Delete Recovery partition in Surface Pro Windows 8
* Open Control Panel from desktop. Or search it whinin charms bar from start screen.
* Go to System and Security > Administrative Tools, and tap on “Computer Management”. If it prompts, type in your administrator password.
* Tap “Storage” in the left pane > Disk Management, right-click the recovery one from the right pane to delete it.
