Windows 8 Boot\bcd Error code: 0xc000014c issue

I have bought and downloaded Windows 8 Pro upgrade on my HP Pavilion P6 computer. I installed it and everything worked for two weeks. Today I shut down the PC and restart it, I get the Error Code: 0xc00014c message. The screen display the fowllowing contents:

Your PC needs to be repaired. The Boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors.
File:\Boot\BCD Error code: 0x000014c
You’ll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don’t have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.”

Now I haven’t any window 8 recovery disc and also lost my recovery disc for Windows 7. How can I repair the system?

* Keep pressing F11 button from your keyboard during the computer’s start up sequence. Then it will bring up HP recovery manager to launch.
* It will ask if you want to back up any user files, click/tap OK.
* Click Next > System Recovery > Next.
* If it use the Microsoft System Restore program, select NO.
* Click “Continue without backing up your files” > Next, and confirm your options to start the recovery process.

    • If you have another windows 8 PC, use a USB flash to create Windows 8 Recovery Drive.
Plug the USB in your broken W8 computer, and boot off the USB. Then go into advanced options and select the repair button.

  3. I have a Lenovo g500 with windows 8. The computer is less then a year old and it’s coming up with the error code 0xc00014c. I have tried f11, f8, f4, pulling the battery out hitting the power button 10 times then plugging with out the battery in it and holding the power button for 30 seconds on the eleventh hit. I previously had the boot loop going on in which would tell me that the pc was trying to repair itself. At least with that I had been to get into the advance repair and was able to go back to a later date to try and restore It. Now it won’t let me even do that. I had the boot loop go on about a month ago now and had to brIng it to a shop To have it repaired. I don’t have the money to do that now. I don’t know what to do and I seriously need the computer to do my work. Please help!
