If you own a Windows RT tablet, like Microsoft Surface, Dell XPS 10, Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 or Samsung Ativ Tab, you may notice that touchscreen lag is reduced to just 1ms. But the standard of lag touchscreens experience is 100ms. That is significantly lower. When I am playing around with a Surface RT, sometime entire unit is hanging and responsing slowly. If you have the same issues, try the tip for speeding up Windows RT Tablet and removing the lag.
* Swipe in from the right, select Search, type “regedit”. Click Apps and then select it from the result.
* In registry editor, navigate to the tree
* Select the key for latency and change the data from 8 to 2. Then change the value data with “Sample Time”from 8 to 2.
Now the performance speed should run quickly. But this also affect the battery lifetime and drains juice faster than before.
