Update: Windows 8 brings up a new way for natively pining both applications, useful and obscure stuff to the Start screen. Sometimes, you may need to access Windows Special folders from the Start Screen. Here are the tips about how to Pin a folder to Start screen in Surface RT/Pro Windows 8.
* From the Start screen, Windows Explorer tile locate in the lower, left corner of the Start screen. clicking on on it to open Windows Explorer. If you are on the Desktop, click Windows Explorer which is accessible on the Taskbar.
* In File Explorer, navigate to the folder you would like to pin. Press and hold, or right-click it, and select “Pin to Start” from the popup menu.
* Then you should see the folder tile/shortcut listing on the right side of the Start screen. If you want to move it for easy access, just drag the tile to the left side and drop it over there.
